::looks up and sees man hiking down the trail right in front of us::
"Oh, hi. Happy hiking!"
Yeah, we're pretty much rockstars. 21 miles today. Still no bears. Still no milkshakes. But I do have a nice blister on my ring finger toe... and a new one from the bandaid I put on this morning. We hear a baby crying in the distant campground. Saw a high-speed chase today on Skyline Drive. Biker going about 90 mph with two LE Rangers in pursuit with their sirens on. Happy Mother's Day.
