Day 136

07/14/12 - Minerva Hinchy Shelter - 1,675.8 miles

What an exhausting day.  Been drinking liter after liter of water.  Who knew Vermont could be so swampy?  Anna's not feeling well :(  We think it might be sleep.  But she hikes on as usual.  Lunch by a beautiful pond.  So tired.  Always.  One of my shelter log entries for today read:

The Good: Beautiful Vermont day.
The Bad: KitFox isn't feeling well, and my tent zipper is officially broken.
The Ugly: I'm out of toilet paper.

Thankfully, only a few miles later there was an outhouse with some TP.  Tomorrow will be another difficult day.  The image of us summiting Katahdin motivates me and helps drive me on.  NORTH.
