04/17/12 - near VA 670 - ≈523 miles
The rain is pelting our tents, but it is still light out, and we finished the day with about 17 miles. We are getting faster. There is a soda machine tomorrow. Is it sad that that's what I'm looking forward to? Yes, yes it is. Some trail magic today before setting up camp. Anna and I finished off the bottom of a 2 liter Diet Coke, ate some kettle corn crumbs, and each had a little lollipop. Rest of the food was already gone, but we appreciate the Baptist church group who left it for us. I'm craving Chick-fil-a so much.
