Woke up feeling good this morning. Hiked some miles and ran into Dr. TrailMix. Thought he would have long passed us by now. Caught him again at lunch. Salmon and tortillas. Mmm. Hiked on and experienced some amazing trail magic. At Allen Gap there was a sign saying to walk 300 yards to a house. Hercules and Fal (1999 thru-hikers) live there and serve hikers Belgian waffles, hot stew, ice cream and sodas. Super nice. Super delicious. They loved that we were Jewish. Really great people.
