06/18/12 - Gren Anderson Shelter - 1,319 miles
Saw our first Jersey bear today! I was singing Pocahontas and when I finished, the bear was just staring at me. We had a nice long look at the fuzzy guy. Earlier that morning we came across some nice Trail Magic from a couple of previous thru-hikers. Turkey sandwiches, chips, fruit, carrots, candy, cookies, beer & whiskey. Nitrous Oxide and the Myakka Mules joined as well, and it was a nice gathering. Town tomorrow!!
