04/22/12 - Laurel Creek - 580 miles
Today may have been my most painful yet. First 10 miles were great. Had lunch at the shelter with Dr. TrailMix then got up to leave and it came out of nowhere. My right knee. I put on my knee brace. Took it off. Then put it on again. The pain was agonizing. We planned on 20 or 24 miles today but had to stop at 14. I am sad tonight.

The next day, I would come to realize this unexpected knee pain was destiny.
I am at the edge of my seat....waiting for "the rest of the story."
