While on our trip to Oregon, I documented some of our daily excursions using my iPhone and an app called, 8mm. After editing and throwing in some music by Mumford & Sons ("The Cave"), you might see why I have fallen in love with this part of our country over the years.
And this video is just a taste. There is so much I did not capture with the lens of my camera, and there's even more I have yet to explore at all.
There is always more to explore.
Yay! I love it. Maybe this year will be when I make an Oregon montage of my own, thanks to your inspiration. Glad that YouTube allows the posting... silly FB. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat video! Makes me want to hop in the car and head to the beach!
ReplyDeleteMakes me cry tears of joy. Beautiful work, Micah!
ReplyDeleteMicah...
ReplyDeleteDisclaimer: "No magnificent trees were harmed to make this video." ~ Loved the parts that showed the big Western Hemlock rounds that are all now split into firewood. That old tree (@ 100 years old) died naturally. We only cut it down because of that.
Great montage of wonderful stuff. Anna shines throughout and "a lot" but I can certainly understand that.
My favorite short moments were of "Ten Tiny Tees" and the "Tilt-a-Whirl." I could almost smell "Pronto Pups" with just a glimpse of those two Seaside oldies.
And... small town Warrenton "July 4th Parade" and then to give "Big Head" a moment of glory in your vid was great! I'll tell "the head" about it tomorrow.
Very nice. Very nice.
