I truly want to express my gratitude to each and every person who helped, encouraged, and prayed for me while I was on this journey. I could not have gotten as far as I did by myself. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
The two songs I chose for this montage carry a lot of meaning for me and my life right now. I think that if you are able to pay attention to the lyrics, as well as the visuals, it will enhance your viewing experience.

Day 163
08/10/12 - [Rangely] - 1,963.8 miles
Livin' it up in probably our last real trail town. Motel with poptarts. Comfy beds. Coffee. Hot chocolate. Olympics. Wifi. Outlets (lolz). And food. Walked around the small downtown, which reminded me a lot of the town in Northern Exposure. We also have a new hiking buddy to join us to Katahdin... Baxter, the cat. He is already worried. Also heard Mumford & Sons' new song, "I Will Wait," for the first time today. I like. I like a lot.

And just for fun...

Oh, Oregon!
While on our trip to Oregon, I documented some of our daily excursions using my iPhone and an app called, 8mm. After editing and throwing in some music by Mumford & Sons ("The Cave"), you might see why I have fallen in love with this part of our country over the years.
And this video is just a taste. There is so much I did not capture with the lens of my camera, and there's even more I have yet to explore at all.
There is always more to explore.
