Wowsers! What a good snapshot of what you guys are experiencing. Who the heck put all those rocks there? And the rattlesnakes? I suggest doing a little game like "paper, rocks, rattlesnakes"!
You guys are making good progress and we are looking forward to seeing you soon as we travel to New England.
Which is harder: climbing up from Palmerton or eating ice cream? We'll take the easy route with you!
I'm looking at the AT Thru-Hiker's Companion book and I see NJ mile posts "Rattlesnake Spring" and Rattlesnake Mountain." Hopefully, soon, you will be out of Dodge and Rattlesnake Canyon and on to the Big Rock Candy Mountains.
